Throughout Global Volunteer Month in April, Universal Destinations & Experiences team members across the globe partnered with local organizations and made a meaningful impact through hands-on service and community connection.
Volunteering is a central part of Universal culture across the globe. Through the Global Volunteer Program, team members are empowered to give back to their communities and donate their time year-round, and Global Volunteer Month gives a unique opportunity to see how championing local causes can make an impact across the globe.

In Beijing, Universal volunteers from Universal Beijing Resort participated in a cleanup at the Great Wall of China, collecting waste and building habitats for birds. During the cleanup, they connected with more than 300 local residents, sharing a strong commitment to preserving both community spaces and cultural heritage.

In Osaka, volunteers from Universal Studios Japan came together for a community cleanup in the Konohana Ward just outside the park. Participants joined the effort, including the federation president and City Council members, collecting multiple bags of trash to keep their community clean.

Volunteers from the upcoming Universal Kids Resort also jumped into action this month. Partnering with Refresh NTX, Universal volunteers in Frisco, Texas packed hygiene kits for students in the area. The effort helped provide essential items to students while building early connections within the local community.

In Las Vegas, volunteers from Universal Horror Unleashed worked alongside Project 150, unpacking and sorting donations. They stocked shelves with critical supplies for high school students, helping them build bright futures.

Volunteers from Universal Studios Hollywood partnered with LA Regional Food Bank to help produce and distribute nonperishable food kits to 470 households. They also tapped into their creative side by making bookmarks for local Los Angeles communities. These bookmarks were added to books and donated to the community.

Volunteers from Universal Orlando Resort participated in two impactful opportunities. Some volunteered with Second Harvest Food Bank, sorting donations and building family food boxes, while others organized and packed groceries for military veteran families at Soldiers Angels.
Team members from Universal Creative and Universal Products & Experiences also took part in local volunteer events, joining efforts in the communities where they live and work across the globe.
